Returns and refunds policy
At Apollo Furniture, we pride ourselves on selling quality preloved and new items. Due to the nature of second-hand goods, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis with fairness and transparency.
1. All Sales Are Final – Unless Faulty or Misrepresented
Most of our items are pre-owned and sold as-is, and therefore not eligible for return or refund unless:
- The item you received is materially different from its description or photos
- The item arrives damaged due to our handling or delivery process
It is important to note that all items are inspected in person by the customer before purchasing. The customer agrees to the condition of the item once the transaction has gone through.
2. Eligibility for Return
You may request a return within 3 days of receiving the item if one of the above applies. To be eligible:
- The item must be unused (where applicable) and in the same condition as when delivered
- You must provide clear photos of the issue or damage
- Proof of purchase (invoice/order confirmation) is required
3. Return Process
To request a return:
- Email info@apollofurniture.co.za with your order number and supporting details
- We will assess the issue within 2 business days
- If approved, we will arrange a collection or request the item to be returned to us
- Upon receiving and inspecting the item, we will confirm the outcome
4. Refunds
If your return is approved:
- You will be refunded via your original payment method (within 5–10 business days)
- Alternatively, you may choose store credit or an exchange (if available)
- Delivery fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items explicitly marked “final sale” or “no returns”
- Products with clear signs of use, damage, or modification after delivery
- Items damaged due to incorrect assembly, misuse, or accidents
6. Exchanges
We do not hold duplicate stock. However, if a replacement is available, we will offer you the option to exchange.
7. Warranty on Tech & Appliances
We offer a 3-month limited technical warranty on selected tech products and appliances purchased from Apollo Furniture.
This warranty covers:
- Major faults such as a blown compressor (in appliances)
- Device malfunctions such as non-working screens, charging issues, or internal faults (in phones or other tech)
The warranty is subject to the following conditions:
- The fault must be reported within 3 months of the purchase date
- The item must pass an internal inspection to confirm the issue is due to technical failure and not misuse
- The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by power surges or load shedding
- Physical damage, water damage, or signs of tampering
- General wear and tear
- Damage caused by power surges or load shedding
If your item qualifies, we will:
- Attempt to repair the item first
- If repair is not possible, we may offer a replacement or store credit, depending on availability
